OTHER ACTIVITIES

Annual Training (AT): Annual Training for members of the 4th Infantry Brigade is a three-day period, covering a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. AT is conducted at a Tennessee Army National Guard training facility and provides both in-depth training on a number of issues critical to the success of the TNSG, and an opportunity for fellowship with TNSG members from across the state.

Field Training Exercises (FTX): Most FTXs are conducted at the Battalion level and provide hands-on training for subjects covered in classroom training. FTXs cover subjects from Mobilization exercises to Search and Rescue Training (with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency). All Brigade and Battalion level FTXs are pre-approved by Headquarters, TNSG.

Christmas Banquet: Each December, a different Battalion from the 4th Infantry Brigade hosts a Dinner for the Brigade. This Christmas dinner is the time when outstanding achievements of members of the Fourth Infantry Brigade are recognized. The Annual Christmas Banquet is a time of great fellowship for members of the Brigade and their spouses.
